Green Whale Technology B.V. Signs Strategic Agreement with EKODA AS to Become Exclusive Lithium Battery System Supplier

Green Whale Technology B.V. (GWT), proudly announces the signing of a strategic agreement with EKODA AS, a Norwegian ESS technology and engineering company. Under this agreement, GWT becomes the exclusive supplier of lithium battery systems to EKODA, delivering custom-designed products that are tailored to EKODA’s operational requirements and ensuring exclusive access to these solutions.

This strategic partnership is built on a foundation of exclusivity and innovation. EKODA will benefit from battery products that are developed specifically for their needs, ensuring technical and commercial advantages in a competitive market. For Green Whale Technology, this collaboration marks an important milestone: the recognition of its competitiveness, custom design capability, and technical strength in the global battery sector.

Delivering Results in Record Time
GWT has already proven its capabilities by developing a custom LFP cell-based product for EKODA, completing both the design and the IEC and CE certifications within just two months. This achievement demonstrates GWT’s ability to deliver cutting-edge products under demanding timeframes while meeting the highest international standards for safety and quality.

Building on this success, GWT has also completed the development of an NMC cell-based battery system for EKODA. This project not only expands EKODA’s access to versatile battery chemistries but also underscores GWT’s technical strength in fast-charging battery system development, a key requirement in the marine and industrial markets where performance and efficiency are critical.

Partnership Highlights
Through this agreement, EKODA AS and GWT commit to long-term collaboration focused on innovation, customer support, and market leadership. Key highlights of the partnership include:

  • Access to cutting-edge research and development in the battery supply chain.

  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products from concept to finished product.

  • Providing exceptional local support to customers all over Europe.

  • Competitive pricing for top-quality battery cells.

Recognition of GWT’s Competitiveness
The exclusivity granted in this agreement reflects EKODA’s confidence in GWT’s ability to provide high-quality, tailored solutions. Unlike generic off-the-shelf products, GWT works closely with clients to understand operational conditions, system requirements, and long-term goals. This approach guarantees not only technical excellence but also seamless integration, cost-effectiveness, and maximum reliability.

“We are honored to be selected as EKODA’s exclusive lithium battery system supplier,” said Thomas Yri, COO of Green Whale Technology B.V. “This agreement shows that our expertise, design flexibility, and ability to deliver under pressure are valued by leading industry players.
